Lyle Bertz serves as a Director of Technology Innovation & Architecture at Sprint where he is responsible for long-term Core Network and Service System (wireline, enterprise, IOT, LTE & 5G) technology strategy and architecture as well as support of related standards and global ecosystem activities.

Mr. Bertz has over 20 years of experience with Sprint leading network and service research and development, orchestration and execution of key technology proofs of concept/demonstrations, vendor and open source solutions development. He has lead development efforts on open source mobile cores and is currently a member of ONF OMEC (Open Mobile Evolved Core).
