Hagen is managing director of BISDN in Berlin, Germany.
BISDN is building telco gateway functions based on various hardware accelerations and a common Linux abstraction over all platforms. He earned his Master and PhD from TU Berlin, then spent a PostDoc period in Italy. He was project manager of the EU-funded OFELIA, the first Pan-European OpenFlow testbed in operation from 2011 to 2015. In 2012 he founded BISDN with a handful of friends and is running the company since then.
