Multi-Layer Multi-Domain Network Topology Abstractions Using ONF Transport API (TAPI)

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The recent releases of ONF Transport API (TAPI)  have been focused on management, control and orchestration of connectivity-services across a multi-layer, multi-domain transport network topology. This presentation utilizes an real world scenario of an MEF 63 Subscriber L1 Service over an dis-aggregated photonic network to illustrate key TAPI concepts related to Topology. Concepts such as component-system pattern, recursive node-topology abstraction, partitioning & layering, etc will be introduced and relationship of TAPI Topology to IETF Topology (RFC 8345) will be explored.
