This presentation will address the enablers for effective SEBA deployment and operations at any scale of number of SEBA sites, and over any geographic distribution.  It will provide a consolidated view of the SEBA architecture and technologies that provide effective external integration to OSSs and automation platforms.  It will identify the roles of the open-source automation platforms - ONAP and Akraino – and their capabilities for operators.

A survey of FCAPS (Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance and Security) capabilities exposed within SEBA and via external interfaces will be related to the flexibility of managing SEBA for a variety of operator approaches. Common data modeling in SEBA will enable external SDN management interfaces that will be effective for a large scale and distribution of SEBA sites. Flexible extension of SEBA to include GUIs and analytics functions can be effective for some operators to minimize external SDN management and OSS functions by more direct management functions.

The Cloud-native SEBA environment will benefit from the vibrant open-source community development of deployment, monitoring and analytics support for Kubernetes. This presentation will explore how Operators will benefit from improved agility and reliability to deploy new features and services.
